Steven Alan, a native New Yorker, has been immersed in fashion and retail since childhood. He spent most of his youth and early adulthood in the family business — his parents' jewelry shop, learning the tricks of the trade; design, merchandising and buying. Studying film and photography at The High School of Art and Design, and later graduating from USC with a business degree, Steven returned to New York City to pursue his own unique vision in the fashion world. Steven is known for, and highly regarded as a curator of not only what is new and edgy, but fashion that exudes expression and integrity. He has an eye for talent, and a legion of customers who continually search his stores to see his latest discoveries.
