Dagmar has been chosen as an outstanding new designer to participate in the upcoming Gen Art Fresh Faces in Fashion show which took place during New York fashion week in September 2007. In its thirteenth year, Fresh Faces in Fashion has become the largest national showcase for rising fashion design talent. When the Swedish design label Dagmar was launched in spring 2005, it received wide attention by the Swedish media. Dagmar was awarded the price 'Rookie of the Year', for the spring '05 collection, and in September '05 the price 'PUB', in the name of Paul U. Bergstrom department store. In February 2006 Dagmar was also awarded 'Best New Designer of the Year' by the Swedish Elle Magazine. The label is created and run by three sisters- Kristina Tjader, Karin Soderlind and Sofia Malm. Dagmar was the name of the sister's late grandmother - the muse and big inspiration source. The knowledge of quality, the feeling of glamour and tailoring makes the essence of Dagmar.
